Outstanding service. I have been with the Bookie with my eenmanszaak for three years and have not been disappointed. Flat fees, a user-friendly app, excellent for internationals. They have always responded promptly and helped me with special requests regarding the Belastingdienst at no extra cost.

The Bookiehandles the bookkeeping for my BV and my husband who is a ZZP'er. They've not only cleaned up a lot of the documentation and decisions our previous (and overpriced) accountant did, AND taken the time to ensure we're included on decisions/fully understand how things should work. Cannot recommend strongly enough to any small business owner or someone who is unfamiliar with the joys of Dutch Accounting/Taxes. (Also I put another name in here originally for no reason other than I must not have had my coffee...but the Bookie team is amazing!)

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them to freelancers. They made countless of mistakes on my income taxe return which almost cost me 6000 euro and the communication has been difficult from the start. They wouldn't reply to emails for weeks and had to chase them. They also didn't share some very crucial pricing and hide behind small letters instead of being very clear on potential extra costs. I am sad because they were recommended from a friend but my experience has only been a huge disapointment.

I have been a client for almost one year and love the client support and their systems. I can send invoices directly from their website and have all the info of clients stored there. Also, when I needed help with my mortgage (papers) they did so fast and answered all my questions. I felt so happy and well-treated. If you need an accountant doesn't matter the reason, just go for them. The price is super competitive and the service is excellent. I couldn't be more happy with my choice and my company’s books. They took some weight off my day-by-day because I don't need to worry about it anymore. They do everything before the deadlines and arrange special solutions if something comes up. Totally recommend!!!! Thank you for everything!! Last but not least, I couldn't leave a review without personally mentioning Stefan, you are the best!

From the start, the entire team at The Bookie have been friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to partner with me as I pursued self-employment. I feel well-supported by Tim and Selin (who always have time for me) and trust them with all my financial needs. The Bookie's online portal makes running my finances a dream - it is so simple to use, and saves me an incredible amount of time. Any questions I have are answered quickly, either over email, or through their extensive FAQ section. When it comes to tax time, or quarterly VAT, the team take exceptional care of it. As an expat, it's a huge help to have the experts I trust take care of the things I don't understand. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and can't sing their praises highly enough!
